I think this is misunderstanding of what we agreed to build for the currency conversion tool. We only fire a currency conversion to give a total in a set currency when necesary to avoid providing multiple currencies. For example:
User sets Sweeden (SEK) as the prefered currency
Basket 1:
Both default to EUR so a EUR result is returned.
Basket 2:
Punctum has a price set in SEK so it is returned but African Minds does not, so its value is converted into SEK to avoid having 2 currencies.
It should also be noted that currency conversion is guideline so we shouldn't rely on it as the figures are not live but anywehre up to 23 hours out of date.
@francescacorazza @joedeville thoughts?
Currently, the automatic conversion into other EU currencies (e.g. SEK, DKK or PLN) does not work for single initiatives except punctum. Conversion only works for the OBC or ScholarLed packages, or when single initiatives are added to the selected offer along with those packages, i.e. when punctum books' offer is included.
Prices are converted only into the currencies added to the backend at least for one initiative (punctum, in this case).
Should it be changed to avoid confusion?
