Modify layout of homepage (data entry page), enhance user experience. #16
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Some of the elements on the homepage(data entry page) are not intuitive and difficult to understand and navigate through.
Purpose of Floating Action Button on right bottom
The navbar cannot be easily distinguished
Logout/exit button is not well positioned
List view may not be a good fit for data parameters
The tab bar view, while easy to navigate through, does not provide enough information to users
Describe the solution you'd like
Proposing following changes to the homepage to improve aesthetics and user experience:
Change Camera FAB to a bar titled 'Report Hazard Event' which goes to another page letting users upload media and include short description in text/ voice format.
Change color of navbar and make it more prominent
Move Logout/ Exit button to right end
Change list view of data entry parameters to grid view
A hamburger menu on the left including different components
Notifications button on the right end, to the left of the exit/ logout button
