@udrysa a few things to think about.
How do the potholes filled fit into the current structure. Specifically these: http://take.ms/9nQDQ IMO - the cleanest way to add this in the initial run would be to just add an additional category called "potholes filled". We would use the 311 data and display closed pothole requests (would want feedback from @ahempton here). AFAIK Cartegraph does not track pothole fill jobs directly, and 311 would be the most accurate source.
What summary stats do we want in the drawer: What would this bar look like http://take.ms/m1OY0
Perhaps a potholes filled this week / last week / last month. You could include parent/children or not (?). Would need to think about terminology - potholes fixed vs. pothole reports addressed.

Thanks cool. I'd like to make sure we have a rough wireframe for that category layer before we roll. It would require some decent work on the backend to extend the functionality - since I originally wrote it for polylines (streets) and to account for Cartegraph data .
LOL or we could have a potholes.sandiego.gov :)
Use Get it done to add potholes filled layer.
