A very comprehensive library of grid generation tools exists here. We should add this as a dependency and write wrapper functions that incorporate various hgrids generated by this package into our workflow

As mentioned in the JOSS review, we ought to replace the dependency on FRE-NCtools for easier build. GridGen tools has functions for this! We could import them as well as some more horizontal and vertical grid generators
