unclear result #12

I ran photon and it appeared to be successful but I'm not clear on what to expect as output. What is the expected output of running photon? I don't see an exe file

Actually, the slides showed the process up to the "Wrote new app" point - could the developers please clarify what should be done after that? It looks like the exe isn't sufficient and the whole folder needs to be sent to users? Is there some guide or reference about what the final output is and how it works?
