Is this functional / maintained? If not, could you please update the README to warn users that this is defunct. #42

I've been trying to make sure of this addin but with no success. Looking through the commit history and issues, it suggests that this package has been abandoned. If this is true, it would be helpful for any future users to have a clear message at the top of the README. If it is still being maintained, please reply here just so that we know :)
