Firmware representation #10

Be able to collect and represent ECU and other CU firmware version state on the vehicle. Similarly represent for a given vehicle architecture the available, latest version of firmware for its components. Comparison could take place either in-vehicle or cloud side.

Consider commercial fleet use cases - timing of OTA based on operational demands. Fleet operators may want to defer, need to represent approval and potentially timing.

Severity of security update[s] need to be conveyable, exposed to fleet operators as part of their consideration.

Is Uptane getting traction in HD trucks? How widely is it adopted by passenger vehicles?

Please provide links to prominent OTA efforts so we can evaluate the data needs for their processes, what we can collect.
