Failed install some of FRANCA ARA tools #156

Hello ,

I am working on converting ARXML to FIDL and to generate code (common API)

I am using below tools:

  1. eclipse-modeling-oxygen-3a-win32-x86_64
  2. Franca runtime and UI as per Franca Quick Install Guide
  3. FARACON: Franca ARA tools
  4. Maven 3.6.3

I am facing incompatibility issues between FRANCA and Faracon software while installing it in eclipse. It is possible to install Franca ARA CLI Feature and rest of available Software from Franca ARA tools are failed install due to incompatibility issues. Franca AR Transformations in eclipse is not visible. Error report is attached.

Please provide answers to below points:

  1. Which of Software’s like Command line Feature, Franca ARA converter , Franca Core dependencies Feature and Franca ARA Converter Cli Feature are required for arxml to FIDL conversion.
  2. Is IONAS connectors are necessary for this work. If not what is the use case for this application.
  3. There are different eclipse installations are mentioned in FARACON, FRANCA and IONAS wiki pages. which is eclipse IDE is suitable for ARXML to FIDL conversion?
  4. Is there anything i am missing.

Your input is very much helpful for my presentwork.

It is working fine in command line.
