I have created a three documents structure -
a CORE document that describes the methods and payloads,
a TRANSPORT-EXAMPLES document that describes the deviations from the CORE that are used by certain transport protocols,
a PAYLOAD-ENCODING document that decribes the payload encodings that are used by certain transport protocols.
The CORE and TRANSPORT-EXAMPLES are based on the existing documents from VISSv2, while the PAYLOAD-ENCODING needs to be written from scratch.
Below you find renderings of the "document skeletons" that I created, and briefly updated to give an impression of this document structuring. Comments are welcome, both on this issue thread and in the next working group meeting.
