Based on past experience using DGUS tools v8.0.1.1 to modify the display firmware, learning how to migrate the firmware to a version compatible with DGUS Toolx 8.2.14 is going to be a steep learning curve, for those of us not familiar with the tools.
The author(s) of the current Readme did an excellent job of documenting the workflow for others to follow. Unfortunately, there are clearly some aspects of that write-up which will no longer apply, post-migration, and none of it actually describes the migration workflow for the task at-hand.
Please review the current Readme, delete what is no longer valid, and update it with an explanation of how to contribute to this migration task.
Please also address how to use the #lcd-dev-sync-channel to coordinate the work on this project, if that will also be necessary.
