What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Generate my Document with fast translate and pdftex
2. Open the pdf in the internal viewer (click open/show pdf)
3. In the internal viewer click on the right printing symbol
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that a printing dialog opens and the printing of the document on the
printer should finish (fast) and successfully.
Instead it takes a long time to load the dialog box to select the printer.
After selecting the printer the printing process takes a very long time (8
pages/ 30 min) and nearly freezes the computer. There is a lot of disk activity
(seen by the LED) which isn't traceable with Process Explorer. After I wanted
to abort this task and clicking on the progress bar, Windows allowed to kill
the hanging process. The memory footprint of Texmaker was around 300MB. After
killing there was still junk (lines of garbage) coming out of the printer.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Texmaker 4.4.1 on Windows 7
Printer : HP Officejet 8600Pro (using WIFI)
Please provide any additional information below.
Printing the same pdf (7MB) with adobe reader took under a minute (29 pages/1
minute)
