When viewing an activity, detail columns appear to have a size limit to which they can expand (~45 characters) to view cell contents whereby verbose text strings are truncated in the grid view w/out the ability to see entire contents for field type = text. The only way to view cell contents is in edit mode where a text box opens when selecting into the aforementioned grid cells. This same grid behavior also occurs in the Query tool; however, the columns in the activities grid do not appear to have this same limitation as the columns seem to have unlimited size to expand.
