Shoutout to Emelia for our amazing new landing page! We are very happy with the state of it but there are some adjustments we would like to make in order to pave the way for bringing animations to the page.
1) As an idea as to what kind of animations we are aiming to bring, take a look at these websites and notice the transitions that happen when you scroll down the page:
Take a look at some websites which you might visit frequently. You might notice they also make effective use of animations/transitions to add a layer of liveliness on top of already looking visually appealing.
2) Adjust the viewport width of the LandingBanner image to fill up the screen. Right now it is 33, try changing it to be around 52. The reason for this change is so that the transitions for subsequent sections don't trigger as soon as you land on the page (i.e. there is room to scroll so that you can see the transitions of other sections).
3) Fix the "Share your Story" button in the "Stories" section such that the button does not need two lines for the text (i.e. the button should be able to fit the text in one line).
4) Now for the (hopefully) fun part. Add some nice transitions/animations to all the sections. For inspiration, see the example from above
5) Take a look and make sure that the website looks good on mobile as well. An easy way to do this is to do the following:
Right click on the page and choose inspect element
In the top left corner of the split window that shows up, click on the little laptop and phone icon. It looks like this:
From there, choose several of the phone types/sizes to verify that the components resize appropriately.
