Topic: Integrating Teacher Management Systems to Aid Future CSA Students

Aadit – Student Grades System

Make it so that students can view grades on the frontend
Make an API to create a grade request
Make an API to directly submit a grade
Integration:
- Make a page to view student grades on the frontend

Saaras – Integration and Planning

Call Hanlun on Dec 3, 2024, to finish integration regarding the frontend
Finish planning for FRQs by Dec 3, 2024; ensure everyone knows their tasks
Complete frontend design integration by December 10, 2024
Finish lesson by December 17, 2024, and ensure it looks perfect
Update the poker algorithm for more legitimacy and accuracy by December 21, 2024

Aashray – Bathroom Pass System and FRQs

Discuss with Matthew on integrating the Bathroom Pass
Fix the CSS
Resolve Thymeleaf issues
Test everything to ensure it works
Ensure pages are consistent with each other
Work on FRQs after integration is completed

Eric – Recursion Unit and Analytics

Collaborate with Shuban and Aashray on creating the recursion unit (Unit 10)
Introduce the basic idea of recursion
Create popcorn hacks and homework problems
Prepare visual representations and engaging methods for lessons
Integration:
- Show individual students’ grades and compare with displayed statistics (using JWT token)

Shuban – Recursion Unit and Integration Support

Teach the recursion unit (Unit 10), focusing on:
- Why recursion may be useful (time complexity optimization)
- How recursion can act like loops (jmp assembly instruction vs ret/call)
Integration:
- On the frontend, allow logged-in students to view all assignments and submit them
Support Rahul and Aadit with integration for CSA Synergy since the calendar will not be integrated into Mortensen’s main project

Rahul – Backend and Security

Overarching Sub Goal: Integrate with Nandan’s group (AI Assignments)
Separate frontend/backend (Thymeleaf vs Jekyll)
Backend Tasks:
- Allow teachers to go through submissions of an assignment and assign grades
- Enable security configurations for:
- Teachers to view only specific pages
- Students to view the assignments they have submitted

I know it says we have to each comment but we eached worked on a google doc and I integrated that in here so we have that all done
