Updated versions: Gradle - 4.5.0 Node.js - 8.9.4 (LTS Version) npm - 5.6.0

Cleared out deprecated code

Added Gradle build step to open web browser to build URL.

Ubuntu+Firefox. Successfully opens browser, but have to manually refresh. This is still an improvement over master, so feel free to commit this.
