Option 1: <1% Non-Birds

Birds are the largest animal threat to aircraft. These should primarily be considered in construction of aircraft. Other animals are anomalies.

Option 2: >1% Non-Birds

Other animals are often hit on the runway/in other extreme situations. These factors should be considered when constructing runways - building fences and other things to keep non-flying animals out.

It looks like common wildlife such as deer and coyotes are hit most often, so perhaps more regulation on keeping the wildlife off of the runways should be in order here. The forth most hit non-bird is cattle however, which means they are probably escaping their ranges. Alert local farmers to keep track of those silly cattle!
