The purpose of this feature branch is to write a guide for getting started with supercomputing. It should successfully outline a user path that describes which tools users should expect to utilize at different points of their development as HPC practitioners.

Great work Mitja! I think this will help a lot of first time users, if they find the page :) Added a few comments, please feel free to disregard/adapt if you think it does not fit.

For visibility, this page should then probably be linked from docs starting page?

Should the Puhti/Mahti getting started pages be removed in this feature branch? Or should I link to them from the new page?

I added the what's new entry and "Available batch job partitions" pages to the preview links, as those were also modified.

I think they could be removed. However, we should ensure that no important links are lost, i.e. this page should provide similar pointers where to find more information. I think some links can be replace by others, though, e.g. no need to link to compiling pages, probably installing overview is enough.

Puhti and Mahti quick start pages are now removed from this branch and links to them have been replaced with links to the HPC quick start.

I wonder if rather than as a tutorial, the hpc_quick page could become the new landing page for "computing" ?

A few words could be added in the beginning that the remainder of the page is related to HPC and links to quantum and cloud index pages could be linked.

I'll add a few comments still asap, sorry for the delay! Putting as WIP meanwhile to avoid premature merging.
