Why is likelihood implemented in CSE587Autils? #24

It seems like this is something the students were supposed to implement. Why is it in the code we are giving them?

I need to get mathematica and the assignments onto this new computer.

But, I'll do that.

I suspect that I put it here either because it was provided in the original assignments already, or because it was used in a subsequent assignment and was part of the potentially provided code.

@michael-brent -- did we decide to keep this or remove it? It is not part of the original mathematica assignments
