I've added shortcuts for changing languages (1-4) and theme (t) and displaying the shortcuts guide (?). There's also a small button to show the guide, in the bottom right corner of the list.
I don't think we need to be hovered over the list for these to work, but we can easily restore that if we want to.
Sorry for the mess of spaces in the head, just saw it in the PR preview :)
