The number stays at 148 for 2 days while the actual numbers should be more like : 03/17/2020 => 175 03/18/2020 => 264

French officials say 244 for the 18th

auf-rd commented 4 years ago

source ? And it's still not 148 like in the data here :)

Sante Publique France , my only reference for France

https://www.santepubliquefrance.fr/maladies-et-traumatismes/maladies-et-infections-respiratoires/infection-a-coronavirus/articles/infection-au-nouveau-coronavirus-sars-cov-2-covid-19-france-et-monde

Apologies , the source was 244 , but the official declaration says 264 https://twitter.com/BFMTV/status/1240342002052538374

It's ok, I no longer use data about France and Spain from here anyway as they are inacurate. Spain officially publishes here https://www.mscbs.gob.es/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov-China/situacionActual.htm They have a daily PDF (ex for march 20 => https://www.mscbs.gob.es/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov-China/documentos/Actualizacion_50_COVID-19.pdf) It is daily incremented so march 19th is no. 49, march 18th is no. 48 and so on) Note that, as stated in the PDFs, they publish daily reports about previous day so, for example, data on march 20th report reflects the situation on march 19th. But either dates don't match Hopkins data.. weird

References have all their issues, even worldodometers is not reliable because they count for France : France + territories and apart the same territories ...

Germany's data is also difficult to understand compared to official ECDC data as of this morning 9:30 (https://qap.ecdc.europa.eu/public/extensions/COVID-19/COVID-19.html). ECDC march 20 : confirmed 18323, deaths 45 Hopkins march 20 : confirmed 19848, deaths 67 Hopkins march 19 : confirmed 15320, deaths 44 Someone does not have the correct data...

Sinon, tu connais un github qui référence les données de la France par province/territoire ? comme celui pour l'Italie (https://github.com/pcm-dpc/) Merci

@auf-rd

The italian site if for me a reference for Italy but should be a model for all of us (accuracy of data, information about the fields,....) , their source from Protezione Civile is also remarkably used by http://opendatadpc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/b0c68bce2cce478eaac82fe38d4138b1

I dont understand why countries like France dont want to share data (I sent a message on Sante Publique France and they said to me they had more urgent work to do (perhaps than inform population ?))

For French data you can go on https://github.com/opencovid19-fr/data ( there you can speak french :-) )

About Germany issues , german people on this site are discussing about the delay in official RKI data by comparison with other sources for Germany there is this detailled dashboard https://interaktiv.morgenpost.de/corona-virus-karte-infektionen-deutschland-weltweit/?fbclid=IwAR04HlqzakGaNssQzbz4d8o8R3gz0C910U8tvfYlBT6P0lVJJvHfk9uS2rc

Edit : on my side , I make everyday a manual copy of data displayed by sante publique , but they only give national values for deaths and ICU , I read my regional data in a website that reproduces the messages from our regional ARS On the french github , you can find a folder named ARS in which they give all the daily links for messages from the different ARS
