Sort by number of confirmed cases again #1370

Today the list is not sorted by the number of confirmed cases, but by name of the country or region.

It makes more sense to sort by the number of cases again, since there are so many rows now.

Can you please stick to the old format?

Sorting by case count is useful for a human readable view. While I agree that things like the Confirmed Cases by Country/Region/Sovereignty section on the Dashboard should be sorted this way, in my eyes CSVs primarily serve the purpose as input for automated systems or spreadsheets.

In these cases, I find having equal sorting order across the different files (confirmed cases, deaths, recoveries) and simplifying cross referencing those more important, than having data presorted by severity. Therefore, I beleive sorting all files consistently by country name is the best option.
