Does the confirmed cases already subtract the dead? #1501

I was calculating the active cases by subtracting the death and recovered cases. Now we are not counting the recovered cases, But are the death cases already subtracted?

Don't think so. They just decided that the number of recovered in America was inaccurate and stopped reporting it.

I was calculating a from c - d - r too :-)

As the US numbers were assumed to be wrong, they apparently did the same for other countries, rather than refer to a disclaimer.

A pity, as many countries track these things very well. They must be quite annoyed. I am quite annoyed. Sounds like you are quite annoyed. I think many people will be quite annoyed.
