Hello,

Yesterday you mentioned that the files below will no longer be updated and we should use new data files/structure time_series_covid19_confirmed_global.csv and time_series_covid19_deaths_global.csv. So, what about the recovered cases?

Deprecated files/structure: time_series_19-covid-Confirmed.csv time_series_19-covid-Deaths.csv time_series_19-covid-Recovered.csv

1250 states

We will no longer provide recovered cases

In a comment they explain why

No reliable data source reporting recovered cases for many countries, such as the US.

For my purposes I've been experimenting with considering confirmed cases over 10 days to be recovered. This may have to be revised - most of the confirmed cases are only tests performed on critically ill, so the recovery time is significantly longer thus skewing the average. However, this method is returning a somewhat meaningful result. For example, using this shows that the US actually has more active infections than Italy.
