Daily Reports for Palestine (referred more recently to as West Bank and Gaza) are incomplete and/or incorrect. #2112

There is a gap in the data for Palestine in the daily reports starting on March 18 and up to March 25, 2020. In addition, zero cases (confirmed, deaths, recovered) are reported between March 11th and March 17th, 2020; despite cases being confirmed earlier.

This appears to be an error given that confirmed cases in Palestine are found in JHU's time-series CSV starting on March 5th (the same day as the Daily Reports) up to the present. The time-series data, in contrast to the daily reports, do not omit data between March 11-17 and March 18 to 25, 2020. The time-series data, however, do not reflect the same values as those found in the daily reports. Daily reports and time-series data are not consistent until March 26th.

Part of this issue may be attributed to JHU's inconsistent naming scheme for Palestine. Currently, JHU refers to Palestine as the "West Bank and Gaza". Previous names include "Palestine" and "occupied Palestinian territory".

Data ought to be corrected where necessary and a consistent naming scheme adopted for daily reports.

Lucas, have you any references to their health departments ?

The UN references this site https://www.corona.ps/

The data there are very close to what you see on Johns Hopkins' dashboard.
