US Daily Increase in Confirmed Cases is Off #2325

According to worldometer, US confirmed 25,985 new cases. However, the JHU data shows that US confirmed ~40,000 new cases. Let me know if there is a mistake in the dataset.

I agree that JHU data may have an error.

Official Total number of confirmed cases for NYC for April 21. is 134,874.

JHU NYC data is 144,190.

It is around 10K difference, very similar difference to Total US numbers.

Can someone explain why this error occurred? 10K is a large delta.
