Virginia Backlogged Deaths

Hello all,

The US state of Virginia included backlogged deaths in their updates from this weekend (source). We are investigating whether a proper back distribution is available to correct our dataset.

Poor CSSEGISandData has to hold their hands, backlogging the data (sighs)...

... Sometimes though, the BackLogged Dump Clouds disappear, and we get to see the Sun. Then we reference all the hard work that gets done here at this site :) :

Virginia is indicating that the death by Date of Death is being reported. It does not have the backlogging issue with the "by Date Reported datastream. Any plans to switch to this metric or are there issues there as well?
