Maryland COVID-19 Dashboard Restores Case Data #5072

Hello all,

The US State of Maryland has brought portions of their dashboard back online after their security incident. At present, this update will result in +28,541 new cases being reported today. Today's relaunch does not include updated metrics for COVID-19 deaths.

Closes #5002.

Hi @anthonydb - we're engaging with the state to see if they have any internal metrics that could substitute for 'date of report'. Will update this announcement if we receive actionable information.

If not, is there a timeline to begin dropping in the current numbers?

5078 uses data from the Maryland Department of Health (and now on their dashboard) to redistribute cases from 12-05 to 12-21 into the "Unassigned, Maryland" entry.
