Thanks for telling me, it seems there's some change in how Lichess does the chats. I'm looking into it and will update this issue when I know more.

That would be fantastic! Maia seems to respont normally in chat, but switches back to ‚human‘ timing after a couple of moves.

I think the issue is fixed, the server was getting overloaded and slowing down the bots. I've fixed it now.
