Actually, I've started working on this already; I think a better approach is to write the frontend first so it's clearer which endpoints we need.

I decided to not do the monospaced style, but will be doing a similar kind of organization (inspired by this & others)

The features that will be implemented in this issue are:

• [x] add controls and views sections
  • [x] view section will be tabbed
  • [x] controls will be organized as a two level hierarchy
• [x] add a view for seeing all executives & support seeing all current executives
  • [ ] add a control to edit an exec term entry
• [x] add a view for adding new execs. This view will be used by the DoA
  • [x] must confirm each officer, then the user presses a submit button
  • [x] GUI should enable creating several officers at once.
• [ ] add an action log view
• [ ] add a device status view

current minimal tree of controls is as follows:
