I'm starting to think that maybe what we need to do is assign costs a set of timeframes, like 'Planting', 'Annual','Harvest' and then maybe one like timestep, where we explicity add them by month ( for the non-regular harvest scheduing.)
This had been started to be included in the operations table.
Nathan brought up the point that the current methodology for calculating for costs for multi-year crops needs to be investigated. There are a few ways of doing that. We've discussed this as a method for annuallizing costs, but another method could just be to explicitly say the time over which the costs were incurred.
