It looks like you are trying to merge your changes into the https://github.com/CSUF-Computer-Science/project1 repository. We can't do that because it would affect the assignment skeleton code for all students. Instead you need to follow the invitation link in the requirements document to create your own private repository. Then you can push changes to that private repository without asking for permission. Refer to the requirements document for instructions.

Hi Professor Wortman, When I click the invitation link it says it creates a repository and then when I try to click on it, I get a 404 error. Sincerely, Diem-Huong Bui
