Subtitle A patient who had undergone an 8 cut RK with T cuts for his moderate astigmatism and Myopia presented to me several years ago.
Description This patient had RK 25 years ago, several years ago we did a PRK for his hyperopia. Recently he became more hyperopic and an advancing cataract was noted. Care must be taken with these patients, incisions can create the PIZZA PIE event which is a splitting of the RK incisions and subsequent complications. In the beginning we did LASER FEMTO but soon realized that manual incisions were the way to go and the ORA became critical to nailing the IOL power.
