appSearch is up and running in its most basic form - it let's you search any app or keyword on the iTunes app store and then view the app store information. More importantly, it is capturing keyword ranking for every keyword search performed, and tracking keyword rank for all the apps that the search returns.
The app begins to become useful when I can search a given app and see what its keywords are that triggers it. It allows people who are working on rankings to see what competitors are using and helps them plan their own keywords.
Can we push a minimum amount of features to get users to use this tool frequently? It is also self indexing - once an app has been returned once, we can continue to search for that app every day in a cron job. The same is true of keywords.
