There is a fair number of EGO in the game. Making tailored set bonuses would take a fair bit of time, so I would like to propose a time-saving measure.
EDIT A: Keeping the original text for posterity, but reflection on it has made me realize it should be simple and not change by rank. 0.1/+1 would be more understandable, and prevent excessive power creep.
EDIT B: If you go down the tailored route, let me know. I might be able to come up with some ideas for gift sets.
The idea is that if there are no pre-existing bonus script associated with a gift, the related weapons and EGO get a minor boost dependent on the abnormality's danger. Armor can receive a 0.1 increase in resistance, and weapons +1 damage. This means a Zayin item in a set has +0.1 and +1, while an Aleph is +0.5 and +5 respectively.
Mind, the proposed resistance bonus might be too strong. I am not good with math.
There are a few gifts like Sanguine Desire and Da Capo that provide bonuses if wearing the corresponding weapon/armor, but it feels like a missed opportunity to not have all of the set gifts synergize in some way.
This will also be a good opportunity to verify that existing set bonuses work as expected for any potential bug fix additions.
