Phat PS2, SCPH-30001, DVD 2.10U refuses to load FreeDVDBoot #238

As the title suggests, I have a Phat PS2 that has the model number of SCPH-30001, "R" is not labelled on the console, nor is it shown on the Version screen. Originally, the console had 1.10U as the DVD version, but I installed 2.10U via disc and now it's on a memory card.

As for the ISO, I downloaded the one with the filename "Some 2.10 models and all 2.12.iso". I burned it onto a DVD+R from TDK, 1-16x, using the 1x Write Speed and Verify options of ImgBurn.

When the console is booted, it does recognize the disc as a DVD disc. But when you go to access the disc, it goes to a black screen with nothing happening. It's almost as if the console shut itself off or something (that's what I think). I have waited for nearly an hour and nothing has happened and nothing shows up on the screen.

Is there something preventing me from not being able to boot into the disc?

If you press any buttons on the controller, what happens?

It does nothing, the console is completely unresponsive with a black screen unless I press the reset button or I flip the switch in the back to turn it off.

I'm having the same issue. I have the same Phat PS2 as mentioned above and I have wasted several DVDs trying different methods to burn the ISO and none have worked. I have waited nearly an hour each time and it always stays on the black screen. Please Help!!!
