NASA-SBG and NSF-ESIIL "HYR-SENSE: Hyperspectral and Thermal Remote Sensing for Environmental Justice" program. Participants will gain hands-on experience with hyperspectral and thermal imaging remote sensing technology and its applications for environmental justice issues.
@ayialind FYI - I have made some updates to the current notebook. Not done but it loads the GIS and ecostress data, loads the boundary and tree data, and plots them together
Next step: select some points from city core and surrounding to compare temperatures. Maybe sample the tree data to get an idea of where trees cool surface temps?
Perhaps draw a line ROI over the ECOSTRESS data from west to east over boulder to show how the city creates a large temp increase?
