I can't install the dotspatial gdal extension. The install window never closed (even though the green progress bar showed that it was done) and so I eventually closed it, then restarted HD and got a fatal error.

This can be done by downloading the GDAL online extension. This supports rasters in many formats and also has support for on-the-fly reprojection
