Solaris could be a thing... #48

According the competition docs, we could have a solaris machine that we could have to use. Someone ought to read up on it. I'll set up a VM and poke at it. @fkmclane if you get a chance, you should probably get a look too

There is a missing kernel module for oracle solaris that affects USB and some keyboards/mice. Additionally you must install with automatic networking or the install will fail. 1

This can apparently be fixed by editing the libvirt-xml and disabling x2apic 2

FYI, even solaris 11.3 runs some older versions of software (vim 7.3, python2.7.9), but as far as I can tell they have been patched for at least the major vulnerabilities (shellshock, etc).
