Clearly state how CUPofTEA helps addressing sciences questions in the home page.
For example, but not limited to / capabilities highlights:
[ ] Emergent properties (apparent responses at different scales)
[ ] Reconciling measurements at different scales (e.g., Ecosystem and soil respiration, do they make sense? Eco should be > soil)
[ ] Robustness of properties inferred by observation (e.g., WUE / CUE, estimated by different method/scale)
[ ] Benchmarking (CMIP vs. observation of apparent responses across scales), this complement ILAMB
[ ] Other ideas?
other than science question, new approach to doing science:
[ ] versioning = make science continuous instead of discrete (instead of "freezing" studies/publication, continuously improve methods/results/discussion)
[ ] more open to large collaboration (instead of studies limited to ~10 authors from the same lab/field, open-source allow contribution from many scientists from different lab/fields)
[ ] facilitate ModEx and cross-scale framework: by creating packages to work on standardized database from in-situ observation, remote sensing and Earth System Model outputs
