please add battery backup to lens and larry (WMB outer room) #86

This morning I lost power while working on tasaki.birc.emory.edu (12C-138 iMac to left of telomere). Keith doesn't want to load telomere's UPS w/ a second iMac, and asked me to submit this request for a dedicated UPS. Thanks, Stephen

I don't know how much longer this will take, so I appropriated a UPS from one of the under-used desktops in WMB (larry).

So this is now a ticket to add battery backup to larry.birc.emory.edu (two-monitor host closest to window in WMB outer room).

I transitioned a second UPS from WMB to the VA this afternoon, so please provide two replacement UPS in the WMB outer room (lens and larry).

@stowler I ordered 5 new battery backup units and 14 batteries to replace our aging ones.

Batteries arrived and will be installed tomorrow.

I replaced all affected batteries on Friday in WMB and have 4 extra cold spares. I have tested each of the BACKUPS 1500s that were affected with a power plug pull and the batteries held for 3 minutes prior to my putting them back.

I have not switched the battery units back, however.

Lens is on a 550 VA battery that has about 10 minutes of runtime.
