Trouble getting sound from the sample project #16

Hello, I'm having trouble getting any sound using the provided sample project. No error was detected when I ran the game (using GameMaker Studio 2.0), just no sound can be heard. I have downloaded and imported GMWwise extension from the Marketplace, and I tried: using the original files that came with the sample project, replacing the files in "Included Files" with newly generated soundbank files from the provided Wwise sample project (using Wwise 2016.2.6), and generating soundbank directly into "datafiles/sound/banks/Windows" but none had made any difference.

I wonder if I missed anything important to get it to work?

Not sure if this is still being monitored, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much!

I haven't had another look into this in years... My guess is you would need to update Wwise or GMS and hope they updated the integration as well. My programming skills are limited, though, and I was never able to pin down the original issue.

Thank you for the suggestion! I imagine if it didn't work with the recommended version it won't work with the newer versions as well, but I can give it a try!
