Doesn't display Non active interface #53

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.When an interface is not active for example an ethernet RJ45 cable which is
not connected you can't see the profile created with...same as it have been
ever created.
You need to refresh interface with the cable switch on..

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would like to know if it is plan to see all profile same as they are not
active as some previous version of net profile...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

i use netprofilemod 0.1.1 on Windows7 Professional x64 Edition

Please provide any additional information below.

I apologize by advance for my english that could be not so correct and would
like to thank all of you for your wonderfull work!!!!

It was a so great pleasure when i discover that project isn't completly dead !!!

Thanks for creating this issue. I also noted this behaviour in my tests and can
confirm the problem with disconnected/disabled adapters.
An additional problem related with the outdated list of active adapters is that
profiles are displayed but not applied when an adapter has been
disabled/disconnected in the meantime.
A possible solution is to update the adapter list periodically in the
background using a timer and maybe also update the list before applying a
profile.

yes of course that's what i do for the moment, connect in case of ethernet
connection and update profile or interface list...and it work for
sure...however i hope that one day we could see profile even when they are not
active or connect...

Thanks another time for your wonderful work and project and hope i could see
that update soon...

Hi thanks for all that work !!
Just to know and understand it well, do i have to modify myself the changes on
files?? If it is the case where i can't find them? haven't find any vb of
netprofile...
Or will you modify them on a next version??

thanks by advance

Hi Jonathan

I just realized that I did misunderstood your issue. You want to activate
profiles on inactive adapters and I implemented an automatic update of the
adapter list... I reopen it with low priority as an enhancement request. I will
have a look at it later, currently the priority will be on fixing the defects.
I have attached the compiled executables of r31a4f1b8b641 but of course I
recommend you to to install [http://www.icsharpcode.net/opensource/sd/
SharpDevelop] and start hacking! For cloing the source you may want to use the
graphical git client [http://tortoisegit.googlecode.com/ TortoiseGit].

Regards
Urs
