Fixes the LUA errors from monitor.lua after 11.0 released.

Fixes #24, #23

This is based on the code from @K-Chester-O in #23

I've fixed this now, I didn't check here first.

From my understanding classic doesn't yet use C_Spell so I've not used your code changes here.
