Hi,
it seems you're using the default Ubuntu desktop session. Unfortunately, it does not support running Cairo-Dock anymore (due to the move to the Wayland backend of GNOME Shell by default).
What could work as an alternative is to stick with a desktop session that uses X11:
Or, use the dev version of Cairo-Dock (version 3.5.99 from the PPA) that works under some Wayland sessions, but unfortunately not ones that are GNOME-based:

With either only one dock or more, and the Bottom Dock set to 'Bottom' the dock remains just a bit below the top of the screen as you can see here: Default theme Humanity Theme I'm running Ubuntu 24.04 I used CD several years ago and don't recall ever having this issue. Did I miss something in the setup ?
