Example of what I'm referring to is allowing us to choose Alolan Raticate, Galarian Meowth, Paldean Tauros, Gigantimax Blastoise, and Mega Beedrill as a choice for Generation 1. I understand the depiction of this chart is by generation of debut rather than regions but personally I think allowing this would allow more variety in some generations that especially lack options like no Dark type Pokemon in Generation 1. You have to choose a MissingNo or Substitute Doll for Generation 1 which I find distracting as I rather add a real Pokemon like Alolan Raticate or Mega Gyarados for this slot. And to a lesser extent, there's Generations like Gen 2 where Misdreavus and Kingdra are the only option for you to choose there. This could be increased to Galarian Corsola or Mega Ampharos and allow for more unique lists I think. There are definitely some outliers like the Paradox Pokemon where you'd have to figure out whether they're considered their own unique Pokemon or are also considered gimmick forms, but I personally think they aren't.
