CalCOFI

+ Core [cc_core]: 75 station pattern, >= line 76.7 from [cc_extended]
Core [cc_core] -> Extended [cc_extended]
Nearshore [cc_nearshore]
Offshore [cc_nearshore]
Extended [cc_extended] -> Historical [cc_historical]

So divide into quadrants:

region: core, extended, historical
zone: nearshore, offshore

Default view:

region: both
zone: both

get_cc_place(shore="all", zone="extended") get_cc_place(shore="all", zone="extended")

nearshore |

I dug this out for something else and remembered that you said no one had ever sent you the "standard" station patterns. If you don't already have it, see attached.

Great, thank you for sharing! I hadn't come across the differentiation between 104 and 109 station pattern based on:
