• Maybe consider one option to be default, and determine a default for every system.

• But since we don't have full information of options available, need to solicit information from authorities. Start from simple task of determining how many systems have options, and how many options are given in a certain standard.

Let me start with these:

1. the streamlined Bulgarian transliteration has two systems in one: reversible (with symbols) and non-reversible (no symbols but easier to read).

2. One of the Indian transliteration systems (IS 13934?) distinguishes two systems which one differentiates long / short vowels and one doesn’t.
