The magenta selected tile outline on the globe is glitchy near poles #58

Low priority but it looks off. To reproduce, zoom in, select a tile near the equator, look at the magenta outline around it. Then go near the pole and do the same. Note that the one near the pole is noisy and scuffed.

Seems like it's not just the pole issue, but central meridian issue. To reproduce, click on the central vertical of the map, zoom in and click any tile.
