5 years ago I checked this bug using the following steps:
- I created a WordPress test site on my desktop locally using Lando.
- I opened my local test site on Internet Explorer 11 browser.
- I installed CF plugin on my test site.
- After CF plugin was installed, I clicked on CF dashboard and created a form with phone number better filed and submit button.
- I loaded the created form.
- When I tried to enter a proper 10 digit phone number in the phone number field, it gave me a warning "Not a phone number"
- I expected the warning to go away once I enter a 10 digit number but instead it was still showing.
Javascript Errors:
- When I checked the console of Internet Explorer 11 browser it showed me the following error: "Object doesn't support property or method 'remove'".
PHP Errors:

When I checked the debug.log file of my WordPress test site I did not see any PHP errors.

So according to my testing & findings, I think this is a bug as the warning "Not a phone number" was still there even after entering the correct phone number.

What Version Of Caldera Forms, WordPress and PHP Are You Using?
CF: 1.7.4, WP: 4.9.8, PHP: 7 (need to check)
Does Your Issue Persist When You Disable All Other Plugins and Switch To The Default Theme?

What Is The Unexpected Behaviour?
When entering at phone number in IE (version 11) I get en error message telling that the number is to short no matter how long it is. Field type is: "Phone Number (Better)".

No PHP error, client side script error message in red.
