As this affects two plugins I opened a ticket over at the Ultimate Member section as well. https://github.com/ultimatemember/ultimatemember/issues/569
(Just an update to the case)
The problem is still present but it happens only with Internet Explorer browser. To test, just fill the form in link at https://secure.helpscout.net/conversation/855718786/21112?folderId=2372292 and try to submit. An error will appears in IE debug console.

Does Your Issue Persist When You Disable All Other Plugins and Switch To The Default Theme?
The problem is solved once I deactivated the Ultimate Member plugin
What Is The Unexpected Behaviour?
Since the client updated the Ultimate Member plugin, the forms can not be submitted using Internet Explorer, if UM plugin is active.
